"Bella Italia" at Europa-Park: Sweet "dolce fare niente" on the Italian Summer Festival

 

Amaretto and lemon trees, chianti and ice cream - on August 13th and 14th, visitors of Europa-Park can take part in a very special event. On both days, the Italian themed area will be decorated beautifully in order to create the typical atmosphere of a big Italian summer party.

With the new 4-star superior hotel "Colosseo?, the managing directors of Europa-Park, Roland and Jürgen Mack, have brought a piece of Italy to the Upper Rhine Area. A little bit of Siena and Naples, combined with a whole lot of Rome - since June 2004 the largest hotel resort in Baden-Wuerttemberg offers a truly authentic Italian atmosphere.

This is one more reason, to celebrate the already traditional "Italian Summer Festival? at Europa-Park! Italian live music, delicious specialities, beautiful masks and Venezian costumes invite the visitors to spend an entertaining evening on August 13th and 14th. Especially for this special event, the Italian themed area will be decorated in the Italian colours green, white and red in order to create a typical Italian atmosphere. Many Italian and Mediterranean specialities, such as different Antipasti, Pollo Fino or Panna Cotta are waiting for our guests. In addition, the visitors can shop for beautiful terracotta ware, which is offered in Roman artisan's tents. Moreover, the international artists of Europa-Park will perform a great show programme with dance, comedy and artistry during the whole evening. In an information booth, interested visitors can get information about the new Roman-Italian hotel "Colosseo? and especially for the visitors of the festival, the attractions in the Italian themed area will be opened until 9 pm. The highlight of each evening will be a great display of fireworks, which will turn the evening sky into a colourful sea of lights.

Visitors of Europa-Park and hotel guests can enjoy this summer highlight for 3,- ?. All others can get tickets for the Italian Summer Festival for 8,- ? during advance sale (phone: +49 (0) 1805 / 7 88 99 7) and for 10,- ? at the box office. Admission is possible from 7.30 pm on at the main entrance, the festival starts at 8 pm in the Italian themed area.
