National football team from Costa Rica stays overnight in the hotel Colosseo

From May 17^th to 23^rd, Europa-Park will be the training camp of the national football team from Costa Rica. On March 3^rd, the president of the Costa Rican football association, Hermes Navarro Vargas, and Engelbert Gabriel, representative of Europa-Park, have signed an agreement on the national team's stay at Europa-Park.

The delegation from Costa Rica with Hermes Navarro Vargas, his wife Ingrid, Alexandre Guimaraes, trainer of the national team, and co-trainer Erick Louis Bolaños was highly pleased with the wide range of activities in Germany's biggest theme park and the close-by training grounds.
From May 17^th to 23^rd, the Costa Rican national team will prepare at Europa-Park for the opening game on June 9^th in Munich. Apart from the training units on the nearby football grounds in Rust and Niederhausen the football players will enjoy a fantastic tour through Europa-Park with more than 100 attractions and shows. In addition, the visitors of Europa-Park can meet the national players from Costa Rica during an autograph session. A press conference with the Costa Rican football association will be organised at Europa-Park during their stay.

For several years the city of Lahr, which is situated approximately 15 minutes away from Europa-Park, has been in close contact to Costa Rica, especially to the city of Alajuela. Therefore, a friendly game will be organised on the football grounds in Lahr on May 20^th. One part of the proceeds will be in favour of the friendship Lahr - Alajuela, the other part will be used for the realisation of a sports complex of the "Goal Project of the Costa Rica Football Federation?.
