Spooky Halloween Weeks at Europa-Park:

Germany's biggest Witches' Cauldron

Weard creatures are lurking in dark corners, wafts of mist are settling over fallen leaves, eerie laughter is coming from the ghostly illuminated alleys - it's Halloween at Europa-Park! From October 1st until November 5th, more than 150,000 pumpkins, countless bales of straw and thousands of corn plants transform Germany's biggest theme park into a creepy Halloween landscape where witches, goblins, ghosts and demons gather for a nice and eerie spectacle.

From October 1st until November 5th, more than 150,000 pumpkins, countless bales of straw and thousands of corn plants transform Germany's biggest theme park into a creepy Halloween landscape where witches, goblins, ghosts and demons gather for a nice and eerie spectacle.

Since 1999 Halloween - the "third season? at Europa-Park - has been a very special highlight for young and old alike. Dozens of eerie-looking creatures are roaming through the spooky Halloween landscape of Europa-Park and scare the visitors in dark corners.
The Pirates' Catacombs of Lost Souls deep down beneath the Scandinavian themed area are an especially creepy attraction for the most courageous visitors. In these dark ruins, the soul keepers of "Toraja? are lurking in the corridors, waiting for their "victims?? nobody knows if they will ever see daylight again in their lives - the ultimate horror shocker for all fans of Halloween! For all horror fans aged 8 years and older, the Magic Cinema in the French themed area offers a spine-chilling horror film in 4D. Another creepy spectacle for the whole family is the Happy-Halloween-Parade with more than 80 artists in bizarre costumes, playing horrific tricks on the audience. On the open-air stage in Italy, Europa-Park's youngest visitors are thrilled by the Halloween Children's Show with Euromaus and his friends in funny Halloween costumes.
In the Magical Garden the visitors can admire a unique pumpkin exhibition with more than 60 different types of pumpkins and even carve their own pumpkins. Would-be ghosts can get a creepy Halloween make-up and weird hairstyles in the Swiss themed area for a small fee and truly horrific costumes can be found in the big Halloween Shop.
Finally, all visitors who just can't get enough of the spooky atmosphere in Germany's biggest theme park should spend the night in one of the creepily decorated Halloween-Rooms in the hotels "El Andaluz? and "Colosseo? or in the Halloween-Tipi.

During the last week of the season, from October 28th until November 5th, things will get especially spooky for the big Halloween Festival: the Evening-Parade of Ghosts and Goblins is a highlight not just for horror fans and the big Halloween-Show "Mysteria? with fantastic fireworks and  ,breathtaking laser show will be performed every evening on the Festival Area of Europa-Park. Especially for the Halloween Festival, Europa-Park offers a Festival-Evening-Ticket for 9 ?. The evening ticket can be purchased from October 28th until November 5th at the box office and is valid from 5.00 pm on. 

Already a tradition is the big SWR3 Halloween-Party, which is organised in cooperation with the popular German radio station SWR3 on October 31st. Thousands of dark and scary creatures are strolling through the park, following the nice and eerie music in the Silver Star Dome, Festival Hall, Europa-Park Dome, Media Hall and Teatro dell'Arte, where the visitors can dance and celebrate together with the popular SWR3 DJs. In addition, many attractions at Europa-Park will be opened longer exclusively for visitors of the SWR3 Halloween-Party.

In 2006 Europa-Park will be open until November 5th, daily from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm (longer opening hours during peak season).
