Europa-Park - Germany's biggest Winter Wonderland

 

Europa-Park started its "magical Winter Weeks? once again with a giant Santa Claus Gathering: 10,128 Santas of all ages came to Germany's biggest theme park on December 2nd and transformed it into a huge red and white winter wonderland. During its 6th winter season, the theme park in Southern Germany presents itself as a magical winter wonderland with numerous spectacular winter attractions. With a fun snow ramp, many fantastic attractions, an outdoor skating rink and the Ice Bar "Glaciar?, Europa-Park is a very special experience also during the cold time of the year. In addition, a spectacular Cirus-Revue, the beautiful Christmas Show in the Globe Theatre and the "Winterworld? guarantee fun and entertainment for all age groups. A special evening ticket invites all visitors to explore the park during the evening or stroll across the Christmas Market from 4 pm on.

Many impressive shows, numerous winterly surprises and great attractions are waiting for the visitors also during the cold time of the year: racing down a fun snow ramp, whizzing around the bends on kids' skibobs, discovering the Russian winter in the thrill ride Euro-Mir, strolling across the beautiful Christmas Market in the German Alley or enjoying "Après Ski Feeling? in the Arena of Football - the winter season is a unique experience in Germany's biggest theme park! In the Spanish themed area, the new Ice Bar "Glaciar? invites all visitors to enjoy ice cold drinks in a truly frosty atmosphere: all furniture in the ice bar is made of ice - temperatures below freezing point guarantee winter fun in Southern European ambience!
The children's eyes are sparkling with joy, when they meet Santa Claus and tell him their Christmas wishes. With countless sparkling fairy lights, almost 2,000 colourfully decorated Christmas trees, Christmas Pyramid, a giant Advent Calender, great rides and a first-class winter show-programme, Europa-Park takes the visitors into a magical winter wonderland.
In an original circus tent on the Festival Area, the visitors can admire a fantastic Circus-Revue with a number of comical and artistic top-acts. In addition, the Ice-Show "Wonderland on Ice? presents fantastic figure-skating performances, while the Globe Theatre attracts the visitors with a winterly Christmas Musical. The youngest visitors can look forward to the Euromaus-Show with Europa-Park's fun characters and a beautiful Children's Musical.
A large outdoor skating rink invites courageous visitors to ice-skate in the middle of Europa-Park and all fans of Christmas movies should visit the Magic Cinema, where a fun Christmas rescue mission in 4D is presented to the guests. One of the highlights of the winter season, during which again almost all of the themed areas are open to the visitors, is the large "Winterworld? for children. With many special activities, such as a children's bakery, a creative corner, face-painting and much more, fun and action for Europa-Park's youngest guests are guaranteed. While the little ones are in full activity, all grown-ups can enjoy a glass of delicious mulled wine in the Black Forest Ski Lodge.
Under the motto "kids on snow?, all children who have never been on skies before can gain a little experience under the supervision of professional skiing instructors from the Black Forest region. Skiing equipment is available free of charge.
Towards the end of a fascinating winter day at Europa-Park, the whole family can admire the impressive Parade of Lights, wandering through the snow covered landscape of the park.

Especially for the "magical Winter Weeks?, Europa-Park offers reduced admission prices of 22,- ? for adults and 19,- ? for children. And all those, who want to experience a festive atmosphere and beautiful Christmas decoration also in the evening, can stay overnight in one of the 4-star themed hotels "Colosseo?, "El Andaluz? and "Castillo Alcazar?.

A special Evening Ticket (entrance possible from 4.00 pm on) invites all visitors to spend a winterly afternoon at Europa-Park. It is available for 11,- ? for adults and 9,- ? for children. Guests of the Advent Brunch have the opportunity to discover the winterly landscape of Europa-Park from 2.00 pm on with reduced admission tickets (14,- ? for adults, 12,- ? for children).
