New rides and attractions

In 2007 Germany's biggest theme park presents a number of new rides and attractions, that are waiting to be discovered by the visitors. New show programmes guarantee unforgettable moments and the interactive attraction "Atlantis Adventure? offers entertainment for the whole family. With the "Science House?, Europa-Park creates an educational offer for young reasearchers.

"Atlantis Adventure? - interactive theme ride for the whole family
"Jump in and dive down?! Deep below the Greek Village the interactive theme ride "Atlantis Adventure? is awaiting all venturous treasure hunters. Legend or history? Following the myth of Atlantis, the visitors can get to the bottom of one of the world's great mysteries in expedition vehicles which can be turned through 360°. During an adventurous expedition to the depths of the seas the visitors try to unveil the myth of Atlantis, always aiming their laser harpoons at dangerous creatures lurking in the depths of the ocean. This adventure takes the visitors past extraordinary scenes with fascinating coral reefs, abandoned shipwrecks and colourful shoals. By means of state-of-the-art animation and computer technology, the visitors experience an interactive ride for the whole family (children up to and including 8 years of age must be accompanied by an adult).

Science House - year-round offer for curious minds
During the past six years, the "Science Days? have been organised in Germany's biggest theme park for all those who want to learn more about science and technology. Due to the large demand for educational offers, students and visitors of Europa-Park can now participate in educational activities and learn throughout the whole year. Next to the main entrance, the Science House invites the guests to experience 80 interactive offers on an area of 1,000 square metres. Workshops and activity corners deliver informative and exciting insights into science and technology. Main topics are "Nature?, "Man? as well as "Invention and Discovery?. The project is realised in cooperation with the "Förderverein Science und Technologie?. Visitors can experience the Science House either individually or in combination with a visit to Europa-Park. Combination tickets are available.

Historical Black Forest House
One of the oldest half-timbered houses of this region in Germany is the new attraction in Europa-Park's German themed area. The house, which was built in 1474, has a unique half-timbered cladding and represents a fascinating architecture, which is typical for the Middle Ages. Both the exterior design and the interior structure of the building, as well as the precious emblems made of oak wood prove its former use as a manorial house. The impressive half-timbered building from the late Middle Ages welcomes the guests at the entrance to the historical castle park, which is located next to the German Alley. A Black Forest Shop, which is located inside the building, offers specialties from the region.

New 4-star hotel - luxurious monastic life in the new 4-star themed hotel
A new themed hotel in the style of an old Portuguese monastery is built next to the Spanish hotel "El Andaluz?. Here, the guests can stay overnight like monks and nuns and yet enjoy all comforts of a modern 4-star hotel. In addition to 66 beautifully designed rooms with approximately 290 beds, the hotel features a themed poolscape, a beautifully designed spa area, large conference areas as well as a cosy beer room in the cellar. The opening of the new hotel is planned for July 2007.
